League will draft tonight . Was wondering from the members of the league what parks and maybe top 5's were . I took Kaufmann and went

I am absolutely insane, but went with the notion that I always win the first auto league I join in any 200X season, so I do something right. My stupid card went as follows:

Took Comerica as my park.

I expect to get most of those guys, but will doubt I get Cliff Floyd. Figgins backs up at every spot, Brady Clark can DH, I have enough protection against LHP, strong defense (except 3B), strong RP and tons of groundballs from my starters except Kaz who should be an adventure on the mound.

Looking forward to playing with my team on Thursday after waivers.

I had very little chance to review the cards, but I obviously figured some of the decent bargains, because the top player on each of the 3 lists were in my top 5 but not number 1, and Peavy was I think one slot lower than in Herge's list. Looks like it will be time to scrub the waiver wire tomorrow. I took a balanced ballpark - curious to see if I get my Branyan/Bell 3b platoon, and to see if my 1/2 drafting of the best defenders at ss and 2b pays dividends.

Well, this is an exciting start. 3 runs scored in the series, and a 15 gamer to boot.
