Nick Johnson Anti-Bias

I realize that there is a formula in place to determine injury roll number, but how can Nick Johnson play in 131 games, and make 533 PA's (not counting the HBP's which are several) and still get an injury on a "4"?

Something doesn't smell right about this for a $6M salary.

I AGREE - that's annoying. It was like [b:a6da9ad7d9]Eric Chavez[/b:a6da9ad7d9] getting a "3" injury roll last year even though he had around 570 AB+BB...

IMO he's still a good value, esp. in a pitcher's park as he will get on base a lot.
Even with an injury on 4 (3 chances) he'll still end up playing about 131 games, or about 80% of the time. I'll take that for 60 ob chances (vs lhp) anyday!
