ARod

ARod

Postby 1crazycanuk » Sun Mar 19, 2006 2:14 pm

I've been playing this game for a little while so I'm not asking for someone to build my team for me. I just need to know where people would bat ARod? I would guess third because of his high RBIs and the number of homeruns on his card but I went to this lineup analysis link and it said my best lineup would have him leading off?

Would you agree or does this just mean I should find a real lead off guy?

Ok...seriously...how hard is it to give your opinion on the guy?

Man, you expect a quick response. 18 minutes? :P

Give me the lineup analysis link, and I'll give you my opinion.

LOL bigmahon...no I don't tend to look at the time since I posted. I look at the number of views.

I'll have to find that link. It's on this forum somewhere.

Cool site, thanks! I'm gonna play around with that. :D

Anyway, I would tend to bat ARod 3rd or 4th all things being equal, but if you had a lot of SLG elsewhere in your lineup then he could work well at #1. His card has everything you look for in a leadoff guy. Still, I'd prefer to have more of a prototypical guy there, and let ARod drive him in from a bit further down in the lineup.

Hey yer welcome. Thanks for the advice about ARod. Well...the rest of my team's slugging isn't as good as I would want it to be for Coors. I'll have to work on it.

Very interesting site but it only used OBP and SLG to determine the lineups without taking into consideration other very important factors like: Bats L or R, Bats better vs L or R pitcher, speed, gba's, clutch.

Nonetheless it was interesting to look at. I don't think I will be using this site to set up my SOM lineups however.
