I currently have the Joker Joe Randa at 3b on a Minute Maid team. Here is the group of 3bs that I have considered: Crede, Hall, Youkilis, Cantu and E Perez.

My lineup currently is: Damon, Gomes, Alou, M Ramirez, Shelton, Tejada, Randa, Fasano, Belliard.

I have some good righty pop, but I am weak on d at the corners. Crede has some pop and solid d; Perez has pop, but horrible d; Youkilis has good OBP and no d; Cantu has the most pop of the group, but low OBP and horrible d.

Any help from the leagues that already started? This is my first team and it kicks off tonight.

In theory since he isn't on either of my teams that have started I like Randa best of the group listed, Good D lots of doubles and low DP's. I have 5 teams starting tonight and he is on at least 2 of them.

Of the group listed I would probably take Randa first and Youk second. Randa has D, average, some HR pop and low DPs. Youk's only advantage is OB, which is a very big advantage. I love Youk in a pitcher's park. In MM you probably need as much RH HR pop as you can get, and that tips it to Randa.

As you can see there are many options at 3b in the 05 set.
