Has anybody had success with Rowand? I've hardly seen him hit over .200 in the leagues I'm in. Do you think a 3 in center would off set his being a 1?

A 3 in CF would give up 2X the hits.

I'm using him on 2 teams right now and he is under .250 on both. But, I didn't draft him for his bat.

he was given to me by Hal when I didn't get griffey, whom I would MUCH rather have as a 3 in cf with THAT stick. couldn't find any interest in trade, dropped him, and no one's picked him up. think that price tag is way too steep for that limited, and one sided, an offensive card.

well that certainly applies to jack wilson and his much desired 1 at shortstop...he's hitting .119 for me. then again, had lugo and his 3 at ss for a while hoping he'd hit enough to have wilson come in as defensive replacement, and he was so awful it wasn't that much different than wilson so dumped him. I think rowand will only make 100m leagues, because he's a platoon, and not that overwhelming even at that.

shhhhh, i know it wont last but........jumpin JACK FLASH

Hershey...THAT Jack wilson started to show up last night, with a four hit series to RAISE his average to .151 for me, after hitting .175 for the team I got him from. notice we're all about 12-9 in that superfly league, including bernie h., although his run differential suggests our master is in for a fall.
can I trade jumpin jack wilson for THIS one....

yea meat...wish you could have some of his hits, not many though

the superfly leagues seems pretty competitive so far, hope it keeps up.
