I have him on 4 current teams. Check out this difference:

At Rogers Centre
2-1 15 Saves 2.15 ERA 1.01 WHIP

At Citizen's Bank
3-1 13 Saves 1.50 ERA 0.77 WHIP

At US Cellular
1-2 10 Saves 3.63 ERA 1.16 WHIP

And then on my Tour team (of course)

At US Cellular
0-3 4 Saves 9.97 ERA 2.02 WHIP

thank god Im not the only one, although I wish I had him performing well on my other two teams, but I'm about to disown him on the only team I have him on. in wrigley....
1-4 7 saves/SIX BLOWN SAVES 4.6 e.r.a. 1.4 whip

are your settings all the same, clearly mine aren't working. I know a 1L isn't the best in wrigley, but he's almost unhittable either way, unless he's playing for me....

Here's some numbers on him from other teams in the 2 leagues I'm in . Looks like one good , one bad .

18 1 3 8 22.2 28 15 11 20 5.96 1.72 @Ameriquest

25 0 0 23 33.2 15 3 7 30 0.80 0.65 @Angels

I think the saves vs blown saves...

Is always the key stat w/ closers...ERA can be hugely inflated due to 1 or 2 very bad outings. Sometimes a closer can be lights out in 8 out of 10 save chances in their last 10 games - perhaps blowing 2 of them in a big way - which would absolutely inflate his ERA between the 5-7 mark. But if he saved 8 of 10 w/ few hits and alomost no runs - you are still getting a lot of quality. ERA is very overrated.

The 6 saves team with 7 blown would irritate the hell out of me - even if his ERA were under 3.00.
