I have Rich Harden as a stating pitcher on my team. I have Houston Street as my closer. When I was setting my manager settings I accidentally put in Harden to close and not Street.

What happened was that Harden started in game 3 then he came in to close game 4! The same thing happend in games 7 & 8. He picked up 2 saves along the way. I just noticed this today.

I have since changed the settings but I didn't think this was possible.

Just interesting that this can be done.

Any RP can close games. Those without a C rating that enter a game in a save situation are immediately "tired". Harden got those saves while being tired.

The problem with him doing this is that he will be tired when he closes and I think he would also be tired for his next start but I am not positive on how that works.
