League 3121 last nite...Team is Lake worth Knucleheads---Hal starts Steve Carlton in two consecutive games----WTF...Good pennent race going on shouldn't have to worry about facing the stud twice in one series  Wasn't against my team but come on this is absurd!!! Here are his lines:

Game 151: 9IP--3H--2ER--4W--5K's (Win)
Game 152: 7.2 IP--8H--3ER--3W--3K's (Loss)

Can someone tell me how this can happen---Heck I'd like to pitch Marichal on consecutive days in a close race

Even though these games weren't against my team it does affect my team as I am 1 game behind the Knuckleheads in the wild card chase...This is total BS

pelzer,

I had this happen in a different league ('69), but the 2nd game didn't seem to count in the standings. So 4 were played but only 3 counted as far as I can tell.

Bernie?

Take a look at this:

On my team schedule, I was credited with a win for the 10-2 game, not a loss on the 2-1. Osteen picked up two wins in the series, although D. Boswell was really the winning pitcher of the 10-2 game.

That's nuts.  :P
