[i:2d127c41b7]04/24/2006 - 04/30/2006[/i:2d127c41b7]

This game was just plain fun (if you weren't involved):

Void of any sensational individual performances (although Alfonso Soriano did rip 2 homers), this game was just an insane rollercoaster. After trading runs back and forth with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts for 8 innings, the visiting Hoptown Sawbones, then down 6-3, mount an explosive comeback and score 7 in the top of the 9th to take a 10-6 lead. Undeterred the Lonely Hearts scored exactly 4 in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game back up at 10, and then won it in the bottom of the 10th.

Bonus note: Check out how the top of the 5th ended.

How about this 23 inning marathon! Scoreless for 22 till a nine spot wins it in the 23rd.

How about an 11 inning 1-hitter, only to be replaced in the 12th and lose. http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2006/league/boxscore.html?group_id=882&g_id=121

Not only did tkl33 win in 23, there were (I think) 8 walks, wild pitch, and a balk in the 23rd inning.
Also losing pitcher Muholland went 9 innings in relief for the loss.

Down 5 in the bottom of the 8th, score 6 capped by a Delgado grand slam to win it.

Pinch-runner Willie Harris comes in after a Matt Diaz one-single in the bottom of the 12th of a 2-2 game. Harris proceeds to steal second, third and home to give me a 3-2 win.

Andruw Jones smacks not 1 but 2 Grand Slam homeruns to awaken the Wombats offence.
