Approaching the trade deadline...can this team get the wildcard?

Can you make a run for it? -I think so.

10 games out...rough but cvertainly doable with your bunch.

Only suggestion, is check out your manager settings, you've tried 42 H&Rs...in Coors I wouldn't take the bat out of the hitters so often, it would be different if you were hitting in the .300s off H&R but even then I wouldn't recommend it because you loose all extra base hits from the hitter's card.

I think that the H&R might be getting triggered since you seem to have set accordingly to avoid bunting (5 Att. total), just make sure you do the same with the H&R, at least it might help explain some of Marcus Giles' numbers, so if anything make sure that M. Giles is tagged to do not H&R.

Or set your manager setting to extra conservative...you know all of this

Hey Cummings, thanks man. Well, I tried the advice of some people with this team and did not really use the individual settings. I went with the manager settings and have them set at "normal" I believe.

Yep, bunting and H&R set at Normal. My pitching has really improved...for most of the season I was in last place in the pitching department.

I agree, having any batter hit-and-run or bunt in Coors or some other bigtime hitting park is extremely harmful to a team as that's just wasted outs for the most part.

Thanks. I should have known that. And with most of the parks in my league being hitter's parks I should never have had my settings the way they were.
