I am curious to know if anyone has ever had a reliever record 20 wins in a season. Jose Valverde currently has 18 wins, 7 losses and 24 saves for my current team with 18 games remaining in the season.

I had Mahay win 20 back in 2003 on my first or second team that year. It is pretty rare though, as I believe he is still in the record books for wins by a reliever in 2003.

2002 was a very good year for relievers winning 20 games.I had Donnelly go 24-7 with 5 saves on 1 team that year.I had him on every team I could get him and he won many games for me.2002 was great for the super reliever.2 very good relievers was all you needed to have a successful team that year

Yeah Hawk, THOSE were the days.

But I have to admit that the game is much more fairer now after the changes.

Ah, 2002... BK Kim and Hammond was my favorite combo. I also loved using Rhodes, Holmes and Dotel. You could count on any of those two to give you about 500 innings with a ton of wins and saves.

Best stats on a 105 win team: BK Kim 14-4 with 44 saves and 208 innings and Rhodes 21-4 with 14 saves and 305 innings.....
