Guys,
I see reference to weather on the boxscores, such as poor, average, or good. What effect does the weather, if any, have on game play?

I don't remember that TSN allows weather effects, but it does, it only affects BP singles, so relatively a minor effect.

I was recently reminded of this rule with a '69 team in Sick's Stadium (Seattle), that wasn't hitting in the spring. The weather was "average" on a good day (in Seattle the weather sucks until mid May or sometimes July!).
If you look at a [b:1e41537a6d]ballpark weather effect [/b:1e41537a6d]chart in the board game, IT [b:1e41537a6d]DOES AFFECT HRs[/b:1e41537a6d].
I am looking at a 2004 weather effect/ballpark chart (didn't order any 2005 cards). There are stadiums where in bad weather the HR chance is ZERO! I looked to see if there were other parks to make sure this wasn't a typo, and there were other parks with zero singles and HRs on bad weather days.
This is easy to forget when choosing a ballpark. I didn't even remeber this until about 10 days ago when looking at that '69 team.
For example, Petco's HR chances go up slightly on good weather days.

That's my recollection, that weather affects BP homeruns, sometimes greatly, as well as ballpark singles. The thing is, I can find NO mention of this adjustment in the game's FAQ at all. The ballpark factors given when drafting a team don't reveal how ballpark factors change with the weather.
If the game does change with the weather, I'd sure like to see by how much.

Ok, I stand corrected.
But I maintain that TSN does not put the weather effects on.

It has been stated many times by TSN that it does NOT use the weather effects, they are only inlcuded in the box scores for looks.
