I took a chance on Duffy with my first 2006 team and it paid off. I was a little hesitant because of his injury rating, but, he ended up playing 156 out of 162 games. Looks like I got a lot of lucky rolls.

Am interested to know how he's done for other teams.

I've got Duffy on my team as well and got similar results. Great value IMHO.

Nice team BTW. Congrats on the 1st place finish. I played Comerica quite a bit when I first started playing Strat online but never had any luck there. Now with a little more experience under my belt, I may try that park again.

Unfortunately, I'm down 2-0 in the finals right now. Of course, now that I posted this, Duffy will probably go down with an injury tonight.

I liked Duffy but I traded him in a package for some pitching.

He missed 14.5 of 16 games during one stretch for us and has been hurt at least 5 times during 2/3's of the season.

I like him, but you better have a good backup just in case.

The team I open the playoffs with Monday has Duffy down until game 6 of the Finals.

That's gotta hurt. Of course, he'll probably still beat me... :roll:

Hey, just be glad I missed that wild card. Otherwise ARod would have beat ya. :wink:

We lost Duffy for ANOTHER 15 games after playing in two!

That's either horrible luck or bad programming.

Here are the numbers:

Starting in game 71 8 game injury
plays for 7
3 game injury
Plays 1, leaves early with 0 game injury (what do you know!)
Plays 11 games in a row!!!!! Man am I lucky :roll:
Injured for 6
Plays 1
Injured for 8
Plays 2
injured for 15

So, in sum total, from Game 71 to game 135

Injured: 41 games
Played : 23

I went back and checked, turned out he's been injured 10 times in 2/3's of a season for us. :roll:

Needless to say I cut him loose. :(

looks like im overdue for disaster, especially after this post, but he's been pretty healthy for me, and is second in the league with a .393 against LEFTHANDED pitching! ofcourse it's a 100m league and ive got kotsay and his ridiculous ilitter of clutch when duffy disables, but nice numbers so far.
