2 weeks survived with first PETCO team....

... and though my Strat experience is limited at this point, I can safely say that this is the strangest team I've ever fielded. Couldn't ask for much more from the pitching at this point, and Oswalt's been a truly pleasant surprise so far. Is there anything I can do to make the pitching staff stronger at this point?

As for team batting... well, I guess I can't have a complaint with fifth in team batting at PETCO. However, I've never had to adjust lineups so much to maximize productivity from some of these guys. The result is a bizarre lineup that nonetheless has been winning a few games. After a horrendous first week, Bay is slowly coming around and justifying his salary and Dunn's imitation of a Mark McGwire-type stat line is a little freaky. Still, it's not terrible. Check out the Road/Home splits, though, for some surprises.

Thanks guys, again, for helping put this one together and let me know if you think there's a glaring weak spot I've missed which could be corrected.

I think you have a good lineup-nice combo of speed, power & obp. The one glaring weakness is your weak bullpen. In petco, you will be playing many one run games-You need a real stopper in the pen imho. So far, so good, but that 'pen will come back to haunt you!

My apologies for jumpin the thread...my first Petco team. It was an auction league....

Your pen looks like they're doing very well..for now anyway (hope they keep it up for ya). I honestly think Bay is a waste of money in this park, just my opinion. I agree w/ the guys though...usually need a stong pen.
