Sabathia pitches 9 innings, tied at 0 after 9. In the 16th, Milton Bradley htis a single off of F Rod. O Cabrera grounds out, and Alou follows with another single. M Sweeney is due up next, and so the manager brings in M Gonzalez (LHP) to face Sweeney's weak side. The winning manager counters by bringing Sheffield off of the bench, who hits a game winning single.

Francoeur hits a walk-off 2 RUN HOMERUN TO WIN IT ALL!! Oh, btw, Jeff had all 5 RBIs in the game.


Francoeur hit almost .600 in the playoffs, along w/ 14 RBIs, 6 Homers and 7 Runs scored.

Little-used Marcus Thames pinch hits for Bob Howry in the bottom of the 9th with the PoBoys trailing the Bums 4-1, the bases loaded, and two outs. He goes yard off Jim Mecir to win this no DH, Players' Tour game.
