Who would like to assist me with gathering the records for the "record books" for the 2006 game ? Past helpers by all means reapply. I have a large list of all of the leagues that started in the first 4 weeks of the 2006 game, and you would be assigned - with my assistance and instructions - a block of about 20-25 leagues to pull records from and then forward back to me. I will collate the lists given to me from all helpers and this will form the basis for the "record books" that will appear in the game and will be mirrored on my site.
In return, TSN will supply me with a discount code that will give you $15 off a 5-pack in any of the strat games.
You must do the work and have it be correct before you get the code.
And I need to see the results within about a week or so. This is TEDIOUS WORK so don't think this is something you can throw together in 10 minutes.
PM me with your interest.

That's $15 off a 5 pack and you can use it over and over for a couple of weeks. Did I mention in ANY strat game ?

Is there some kind of deadline for these #'s moose?
I wouldn't mind doing it but I don't have alot of free time.
I could do it in bits and pieces, but I can't commit to hours at a time...

Once you are given a list of leagues to do (about 20-25 leagues) I would need the work done in a week to 10 days. So I would say I would need to count on you to spend whatever time is needed on it to get it done within that frame....

With my weird hours I could comb through a few leagues and track stats. What kind of information are you tracking???

If you played the 2005 (04) game, click on "record books" - basically, the Hitting, Pitching, and Team records are taken by going through the stats section for a league, and then all of the teams in a league individually.

If I have time, I'll try to write a program that would download all of the team.html pages and then parse them. This would be a lot of work but it might be possible. Wish I had a 5 day vacation. : )

Hey I'd like to help. It shouldn't be too hard should it? All you have to do is look at the league stats and pick the top finishers for each stat and put it all together. Let me know if I can help.

That would be great if possible. As an example of what I am looking for, just look at the 2005 game and see the Hitting, Pitching, and Team sections. It wouldn't cover ALL of the records, as some (like RP wins) are extracted just by looking at all of the teams.
Some of the records are found by viewing each team, some are found by looking over the stats section of each league.
If you have the time, let me know what you come up with.
