Injury question

I had always assumed that you couldn't have a position left vacant by injuries - i.e. having both your catchers going down with injuries at the same time.

On my current tour team my only 2 1B rated players are both down with injury - http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2006/team/team_other.html?user_id=2761

Johnson is my regular 1B, and I have been using Harris as my DH vs. RHP. Now they're both out with injuries and I have no other 1B rated player.

Have I been misinterpreting the rules all these years? Or does using Harris as DH change things somehow?

I believe the position deal is only for catchers, not other positions.

If I remember correctly, Hal will put another player at the 1B and they will have a 5e30 rating or something close to that. I'm sure someone will chime in the exact rating.

I am pretty sure that rule is for catchers only, not for any other positions.

I have played the craziest guys at the most ridiculous postions so yes it definetly only applies to catchers
