Anyone know anyone who's had more Ks to start a season before allowing his first walk?

still no walks allowed (does have a hit batsman - imagine that) ... total up to 33 Ks now!
7 more Ks - still no walks - total now at 40 Ks

Considering that half the outcomes are on hitters cards, that's the equivalent of 20+ Innings of hitters cards with no walks. Truly amazing!
Pedro's total now stands at 45 Ks with 0 BBs !!!

Pedro's streak ended last night at 52 strikeouts. Jason Michaels came to the plate in the top of the 6th inning. After taking the count full, Michaels drew a walk on a VERY BORDERLINE call. Pedro, obviously irate over the call, came close to getting tossed, but was calmed by his battery mate Chris Snyder. However, as we all know how Pedro can get quite emotional (threatening players in opposing dugouts - see Jorge Posada), he couldn't regain his focus. He promptly gave up a homer to Chase Utley. Fortunately he was able to put it behind him and secure his 4th win of the season against only 1 loss. His ERA stands at 1.27 with 55 strikeouts and just 2 walks.
