Any feedback would be greatly appreciated..thanks

C- Schneider
1B- Pujols
2B - Counsell
SS- O. Cabrera
3B- Figgins
LF- Crawford
CF- Damon
RF- Abreu
DH- Konerko

Home field is Yankees Stadium, others in division...Shea, Great American Ballpark and PNC Park.

My questions are who should I bat leadoff...Crawford, Figgins or Damon, and depending on the leadoff hitter who is best suited for the #2 hole. Thought about Abreu if not maybe Counsell.

Last question is do I have enough balance on this team or am I lacking in power...maybe a lefty power bat instead of Damon or Crawford.

I would bat Damon 1 with Counsell 2 (low # of gbA). You could maybe use another power hitter, but with Pujols, Konerko, and Abreu its not a absolute need.

I agree with what bosshogg is saying. Here is what I would suggest based on your roster:

vs RHP
Figgins (higher OBP and faster than Damon)
Damon (only 6 DP chances, lowest on the team)
Abreu
Pujols
Crawford (lower OBP and more power then Figgins or Damon)
Konerko
Schneider
Counsell
Ocab

vs LHP
Counsell (faster than Damon and good OBP)
Damon (only 6 DP chances, lowest on the team)
Abreu
Pujols
Konerko
Figgins
Crawford
Clayton (Ocab is brutal vs LHP)
Schneider

Your lineup vs RHP is pretty good. You lineup vs LHP dies after the #5 spot. Figgins and Crawford and to a lesser extent Schneider and Ocab are tilted way over towards RHP.

I would get a platoon mate for Crawford. He has two entire columns of almost nothing vs LHP. Cash Durham in because you wouldn't want him ever to play in the field and your DH spot is covered by a 600 PA guy in Pujols or Konerko. I like Garret Anderson, Marlon Byrd or Bobby Kielty for the money.

Another option would be to drop Crawford for someone else. If you do that I would go with a player that has even balance or is even slightly better vs LHP. Jason Michaels comes to mind. He would be perfect for your team.

You do need a backup 2B that has a little glove and a little bat instead of all bat and no glove like Durham. I like the following players for less than 1M: Vizcaino, Macias, Cintron, Willie Harris & McDonald.

If you get a platoon mate for Crawford you wouldn't need Everett. You could cash him in for your backup 2B.

BTW Konerko's 3e6 is better than Pujols' 2e15 at 1B. Konerko will allow fewer hits + errors at 1B than Pujols would.

I hope some of the above gives you something to consider.

Like the idea of Michaels but he's unavailable. I'm considering dropping Crawford and platooning Kielty (3L) and Tyner (4R).

Any thoughts?

Also I'm not sure if my rotation is good enough. I have some concern over Lackey. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Lackey is a solid, if unspectacular, SP. If I remember right there are no BPHR symobls on his card.
