Does HAL know the rules to his own game?

I just had Bing Miller go down with a 15 game injury. With 613 plate appearances, I thought he was supposed to be immune from that kind of injury?

Has anyone else had 'head scratchers' like that?

Injury lengths are not based upon plate appearances, but upon ABs + BBs. So no hbp, etc.

Miller has 596 ABs + BBs.

If a player has less than 600 ABs + BBs, he can be injured for up to 15 games at a time. (EX-B. Miller)
If a player has 600-679 ABs + BBs, he will only be injured for up to 3 games at a time. (EX - Yaz)
If a player has 680 or more ABs + BBs, he is an in game injury, only. (EX-C. Cooper).
