Tip:
You won't need 3 catchers; HAL won't DL your second one.
As a general rule, you are best off playing with 13 offensive guys & plowing that saved $1M into your starting 8 and pitching staff. Also as a general rule, .50 bench guys are best so that you get the most bang out of your bankroll with the starters.

For what it's worth, a couple of things to think about:

You're probably not going to want to start Faber over McGregor no matter how many righties he's facing - .54 there better spent elsewhere.

And as Randy (JUMA) suggested, tying up cash in bench guys is a bit of a waste compared to maximising the talent of your everyday players. If you cut one of your 1b's, one of your catchers and one of your 3b's, you'd have another 1.5 mill. Add that to Faber and the leftovers you already have and you've got 3 mill to maybe upgrade Stanley or Bishop or your RP's.
