Jim Kaat mystery card

Jim Kaat mystery card

OK, folks, I know that Jim Kaat has a following in this game. At several points I contemplated cutting him loose. Take a look at those numbers and let me know what you think. At what point do you give a guy the boot who just isnt cutting it, even though theoretically he should.

Kaat is a bit homer-prone and much better to LHH. You have some small ballparks and a LOT of RH power hitters in your division. I would drop him before your next run of divisional games for someone who pops RHH and has few BP HRs.

I love Kaat, especially at Dunn or Yankee 56. He has won 20+ at Yankee 56 for me more than once. He was a bad choice here, it probably will not get any better. Look for a trade first as he is does have some market value.

Thanks guys. I already put out an email about a trade, but if I get no nibbles, Ill probably replace him with a starter like Bell.

I've used Kaat a ton and he usually does very well, but the last few times I've had him he's been getting creamed. Not sure why. I say dump him, although I tend to dump guys to soon as opposed to to late. Just my .02.
