My three factors to measure perf:

1. RS = OBP * SLG * ABs = 151, actual RS = 151, you are getting good run effeciency.

2. Bill James luck factor (RS vs RA) says you should have 16 or 17 wins, you have 14.

3. Underperformance.

Nelson, Morgan and Collins for sure, they should get better. Simmons somewhat, expect his OBP around .375.

Leadoff Chance is a good sugegstion.

Stay the course.

This is the lineup I would usually go for. Doby never hits much more than .220 but still frequently get 100 RBI's with this team he might get 120. Batting 5th will utilize his clutch to the utmost. I have one general rule for Doby, if the lineup at Griffith I have doesn't really allow Doby to bat 5th then I should not have Doby. He is expensive and what he offers is clutch hitting and defense with some protection in power parks and if you don't maximise his wonderful clutch you are his best value at Griffith out. This lineup will also then have the weaker hitting but good running team for the bottom of the lineup and can utilize George Gibson's bunting and hit & running more effectively. Any team that can bat Meusel sixth will score runs.

I like Chance at lead off quite a bit. However if the team does poorly I do subscribe to the PJ Axellson theory of changing your lineup until HAL likes it, but with this potent lineup I'd give this a good solid run. So you have Morgan Wagner Chance and even Meusel who could lead off.

Your larger problem is you have so many lefty starters and relievers. You must have a lot of lefty hitters in your division.

When Wagner goes down I'd move Simmons to 3 Meusel to 4 and Crosetti to 8th.

Saw the only real thing I had to say and thats get Roe some starts and if Ford keeps losing I would try to trade him to someone and dump him 2or3 starts later if he doesn't turn it around
