Hack in CF?

Hack in CF?

Postby novie » Thu Jan 05, 2006 5:51 pm

Still have waivers to go, but am considering using Hack in CF... playing in Fenway 86... with a Briggs, Forbes, and Exib 85 in division. Never used him in this role... have a chance to get Speaker for Greenberg and move Hack to DH. Would prefer to send Hack for Speaker, but that isn't the offer. If I make the trade, would probably look to move and get Riggo/Ennis to play LF and dump Jackie or move him to !B and dump Murray.

Thoughts? Do I become to LH? 3 LH SP in div as well as Hernandez, Baumgartner, Honeycutt, and Sambito out of pen.

Speaker makes you better. See if he'll throw in an upgrade somewhere else to make it worth your while. Speaker makes you better than the swap in DH makes him.

I used Hack once with an all hit, no pitching team. The team scored a ton of runs, but I'm certain Hack's lack of range hurt an already suspect staff.

Using Hack as DH should work well for you . I have found that he's a notorious slow starter , so stick with him .
