best back-up for Honus

Postby nevdully's » Tue Jan 17, 2006 11:51 pm

I've had good success in forbes so far...7 Titles in about 23 completed seasons.

Of Wagners' 3 his teams were
86-76 lost in Semis
91-71 lost in Semis
100-62 Champs

Chapman's 2 were

95-67 lost in Finals
91-71 Champs

:)

Thanks for everyone's comments. This is my first time using Wagner. Here is what I ended up with:

The rest of the ballparks in my division are pitchers parks with the rest of the league being a curious mix of extreme hitters parks, extreme pitching parks, and a couple of neutrals.

I've used Bridwell as a backup for Wagner. You lose even more on defense, but you don't lose as much on offense and when Wags is playing, Bridwell is an excellent pinch hitter.

Best backup for Wagner? Cheap whiskey. If not available, then Dave Bancroft.
