Jim Bagby Sr

OK, I'm into like game 80 or so and I decide to acquire Bagby to round out my bullpen. Problem is, since I've gotten him the computer had used him in every game to the exclusion of my other relievers. Some of whom are much better pitchers. I have him set to be set-up vs. RH with relief usage normal and closer usage maximize. My question is, How can I get the computer off Jim Bagby Sr. already? Thanks for any help.

Get him out of the RH set up job is how . If your using him to try and make him only go against RH it wont work most times. Is your closer getting any use? I have found that if you designate your set up men and leave the closer blank , plus managerial settings at regular you open up the pen for more use . The less you try to get Hal to cooperate the better off you are ...IMO

then should you leave all settings blank and force hal to make the best match ups?
