I've swapped out 25% of my team in the last 48 hours, so if I give any advice, I'd only change my mind

Your're golden in CF, 2b, RF...Clark will hit a lot for the $$$

Bush with Concepcion as a caddy? Makes me think my Wagner/Marion duo will work 8)

Gehrig will do OK at home for you, and will rock in the away parks in this league, except mine  ....I hope.

Have never been able to land Hughson, but the words on the boards are generally favorable. With so many left heavy parks, Hernandez may not have been a bad idea. If you have reasons for Barney, then go wiht your gut.

I have Cuyler and Roseboro at the 120 game mark or so in another league, I'll send you a link if that would help. Pretty much Cuyler great, Roseboro's above Mendoza and will hit 12-14 HRs as my starter.

I'm stuck on Koufax v Joe D for my Fling team.

Good luck!

Good luck to you (except against me  ) Schulz is tough against lefties for a righty think that may work for my bunch in those parks favoring lefties and if all the rolls are on Schulz's card it'll be a winner, if not, wouldnt be my first non title team

We picked a bad league to go small ball.

There's a Baker playoff calibre offense on the wire.

Mathews, Tram,Gordon,Cash, Lance Parrish.
Thomas and Doby.
McCovey and Rosen.

If this is not a DH league, Davy Jones seems like overkill.

I like the offense, except....not very much XB power beyond Lou and Kiki. In small ball, you do need doubles and triples to drive in runs, and Dimaggio, Bush, Collins, and Clarke (and sometimes Gardner) are primarily singles machines.

The starting pitching seems a little soft for a singles based offense. I don't mind Cox as a 4th, but Hughson seems to thrive in the 2nd/3rd slot where he's not facing the Petes/Sandys/3-Fingers of the world. If you dump Jones for a nickely guy, that gives you 2.2M cash. Could Ford or Derringer be upgraded?

Well, MTH, I have to say, I would redo quite a bit. If I'm right in thinking Trammel is available, I would dump Durocher, Bush and Jones and pick up trammel, dump Schultz and Gherig, pick up a stud SP and a couple good 2-3 mil RP to go with Hall and Wade, Drop Derringer for a Boyd/Wilson/Nolan (in that order) to free up some more cash, and pick up a decent hitting 1B, and a better hitting, but still cheap C like Schalk or Gibson.

But that's just what I would do.

MunichMan.....thanks for pointing out how much better Trammell would be in this situation than Bush. I made the change to Trammell by downgrading Schulz to Henry after checking DiamondDope gonna see if I can improve somewhere else look at link above and see if it looks a bit better now
