Props to Petrosian

I know the guy rubs some the wrong way with his big ego and what not, but I gotta give thanks to Petrosian for helping one of my teams without realizing it.

I had an autodraft a couple months ago where I tried for a smallball team in Forbes. Only problem is, so did everyone else. There were like 6 Griffith/Forbes parks in the league. Every (and I mean every) decent smallball player was taken.

So I scoured the boards and saw where Petrosian had built a really good Forbes squad around Mantle. The Mick happened to be available on waivers so I gave it a shot and tried to mimic Petrosian's team.

The team ended up 94-68 and won the division but lost game 5 of the semis.
