3B: Boyer vs Bando

3B: Boyer vs Bando

I have both Boyer & Bando. Looking to trade 1 of them. Who is the better fit for my team? (Playing in Oakland 90.)

They are similar types, so I can't see where the stadium or line-up would matter very much. IMO, Bando is FAR better than Boyer.

I have higher expectations for Bando, which in the handful of times that I've used him, have never been met. Boyer I don't expect much from and have been satisfied with the performances I have had from him. I tend to bat him 6th or 7th, primarily on homerun friendly teams. Given the price difference I will pretty much always take Boyer over Bando, but am not that fond of either ATG II player.

Boyer's 1 is nice, and if Bando is not available, I use him. But unless you need the money, stick with Sal.

I'd keep Bando. Boyer's card is design for a HR park. His offense will suffer in Oakland.

80 teams, I've used Boyer once.
In Briggs which is homer friendly.
611 atbats
.249 avg
31 DO
23 HR
87 RBI

I've never used Bando

I have seen Bando consistently put good numbers in the leagues I have been involved in. Boyer has been hit or miss from what I have observed. In a small-ball park Boyer suffers the most. Boyer is a 1 and Bando is a 2 fielding. At third base I place less emphasis on fielding. Both are injury free and Boyer costs less. I think it depends on your park.

I don't think either player is a particularly good choice in a pitchers park.

I have used bando several times, always in hitters parks, and he fluctuates between very good and outstanding!

Have never used Boyer....
