Free trial version is likely limited in various ways. For example the import from web might not be there. I have no idea as I have never used the free trial version. It may very well be the full version that becomes inactive after 30 days or something. Just something to be aware of if the functionality discussed here is not there for you. I am fairly certain that the copy/paste method should work on any version. I did confirm that the import from web feature is present in office 2003. I have no way of checking office 2000.

Try downloading open office (www.openoffice.org). It's a free office suite. You can then just highlight the stats from the team you want and paste them into the spreadsheet. It's a little clunky (the word processor is pretty nice, though) but it works. You can PM me c/o the Wimbourne Wasps' front office if you have more questions. :)

If you are using firefox (or Chrome) there is a script called "Table2Clipboard" that will allow you to copy/paste table information to excel or word or wherever, and even do some tricks with it prior to excel.

To install on Chrome, just google it and download.
To install on Firefox, you will need a scripting engine, like Greasemonkey installed first.

First, search google for Greasemonkey. Install it.
Then, google for Table2Clipboard. Install that.

Next, load your team page that you want.
Right click on the table you want to copy.
Pick Table2Clipboard and do Select Whole Table. Copy, paste in excel or wherever...
