triples

quick and dirty approximations:

within a league or new team free agent list, doubles, but you still need to look at the cards.

high 2Bs combined with high SBs (sort by one, then look for the other) is a better approximation, but you still need to look at the cards...

He was looking for real-life triples as a sort feature...i.e., not card totals

That's a whole separate question.

But yes if looking for carded data, that's manual or DD or other means.

Go to diamond dope

Click on "pool"

Scroll to the bottom of the list and select "zero park effects"

After a few minutes, it will display all of the raw card data for the card set. Highlight everything, copy it, and paste it into Excel.

Enjoy.

Since BP effects don't bother carded doubles, triples, walks or HBP, any park will suffice, not just the zero park.
