With 300 players drafted per league in live drafts, here are some factoids:

189 players were drafted in 100% of live drafts... all the expected ones

63 Players weree drafted in ONLY 1 (of 72) live drafts... including Bret Saberhagen who was drafted in the 9th round in his only darft!

Poor Roger Connor... drafted in only 39 live drafts

Then there is high-priced reliever Jeff Reardon who despite saving many many games in real-life has been relegated to the live draft back burner... having been selected in only half (36) of the the ATG6 live drafts

I have plenty of factoids to present from my slightly bigger database (78 drafts):

*29 different players have been drafted in the 1st round

*Only 5 players (Bonds, Ruth, Gibson, Mantle, Hornsby) were always drafted in the 1st round

*188 players taken in 100% of the drafts

*525 players drafted at least once

*Among the top 75 players (ranked by average draft position), the player with the highest standard deviation in draft position is Cesar Cedeno, making him the most difficult high-ranking player to predict. His draft position was 76.46±26.61. The next closest in standard deviation was more than less (Roger Maris @ 70.79±16.15).

*Among all players drafted in 100% of drafts, Rico Petrocelli had the highest standard deviation. He was drafted 200.99±50.64.

*Only one player in the Top 50 (ranked by average draft position) was ever drafted lower than 100 (111).

You can pretty much tell who knows what they are doing with live drafts by where they draft --or don't draft -- Cedeno. Guys who are largely clueless seem to draft him as though his pricing is accurate. It's not.
