This is not true, quick hook will pull a pitcher much sooner than if he gets pulled by fatigue, that is the reason for it. Slow hook will mean even if he is getting in trouble and is a little fatigued you leave him in.

If the reason for quick hook is fatigue and not when he's getting lit up it's assinine.

Gotta enter this debate, I have to agree with Nev, Quick hook should mean just that... If the pitcher is getting rocked, [b:aa9ca46e87]YANK HIM[/b:aa9ca46e87] I've seen my guys get pulled when they give up a single in a close game, yet they get left in a blowout, quick hook should not depend on the score, it should take effect when the guy is giving up hits!!!!!!!!!!!!!
