dope pool breakdown - for Adrian

Adrian (and whoever else cares):
I was doing some analysis of the ATG6 pool and noticed some errors in the data in Diamond Dope. I noticed that about eight players had "NA" in their Balance cell. So I wanted to fill in the data. What I found out, however, was that whoever entered that information originally had it wrong---mainly the inability to count singles, which affects the OB, TB, BA, OBP, and SLG--on both sides--as well.

btw, all eight players were from the season 1986. i assume this is no conincidence. If I have time, I might search more.

Thanks, Bill. There are some other discrepancies that I have forgotten. (Like, isn't there some guy named Bob who's out of whack?) But this thread could be a good way to focus and prod me to action.

Let me know what you find and I'll work on fixing it and we can use this thread to make sure that everything's addressed.

DiamondDope has him at +14 clutch.
he is actually -14 clutch on his card.

1986 Ozzie Smith numbers are wrong when he's entered in the lineup evaluator, he's right on the card reader though.

1975 Pete Rose has the wrong positions listed in the card reader, so he won't even enter the lineup evaluator at the correct positions.
