Everyone gets too hung up on these small samplings of hitters in the post season.....good or bad. The 162 game baseball season will produce 40 or more small samplings of success or failure over the year with 20 or so at bats. If your good your good if you suck you suck. Even the owners of a ton of world series record (Mantle and Berra) had terrible World series performances. The other thing that has never changed in baseball is good pitching stops good hitting every time. Unless maybe your name is Ruth, Gehrig or Ted.

absolutely. that's why the stats are so non-gaussian and not reliable. give me a team full of stars who sucked in the postseason anyday. and that includes adrian gonzalez!
