Losing Streaks?

Have a team currently riding a 15-game losing streak. Ugly as that is, I'm sure this sim must have seen longer slides than this (or at least, I hope so!) - but did not see any data on team streaks when skimming the ATG record book just now.

So I'm curious about long losing streaks (and for that matter, winning streaks) that others may have seen.

Well, I guess I should thank my lucky stars for currently having a mere 9 game losing streak; I guess it can keep going - but frankly - I'm tired of it.

If a sweep is the "thrill of victory" and being swept is the "agony of defeat", long losing streaks are prolonged agony.

i've seen longer streaks but there used to be a couple of managers that would join leagues just to destroy them so the results were bogus.

Why? I mean, who has that kind of free time?

i don't know? tsn and bernie caught hell about it. one turd, if he didn't get the players he wanted in the draft, would drop/add to a bare minimum salary team. of course, one of the other teams in the division was guaranteed a wildcard spot. another one would make lopsided trades and he'd disappear for the season. unless you were in their division, you had no chance at the wildcard.

I had an 18 game losing streak to start the season, few years back, I think. I try not to think about it, however. Post traumatic stress, and all that.
