Injury to pitcher from his pitching card?

Injury to pitcher from his pitching card?

I didn't know that was possible?
There's nothing on the card itself - roll of 6-12 on Ron Guidry.

So ......how does it happen?

any roll of 6-12 against the DH is a pitcher injury.

Seriously? What's the rationale behind that?

So pitchers in the American League are injured more frequently than those in the National League?

The odds are the same in DH and non-DH leagues; DH leagues have one batter in the lineup with a chance on 12 of a pitcher injury, in the NL there is one player in the lineup (the pitcher) with an injury on a 2.
