Replay feature

Replay feature

I love the replay feature, it makes checking the scores that much more fun and it's a really useful way to study how the game works. I wonder if there will be enhancements to this in the future? There are so many things that could be added, have I missed a thread announcing this?

I'm thinking that it would be great to add lefty or righty for pitchers and hitters; and the fatigue level for pitchers.

I LOVE this feature. I watch every game (on about 80% speed) on my commute into work on my iPad.

(And no, I don't [i:1478dd7995]commute[/i:1478dd7995] on my iPad. I commute on the LIRR, but WATCH the game replay on my iPad.)

Simple things like adding the starting pitchers, the bullpen availabilities, the bench availabilities, a fixed image of the starting lineups, the league standings, etc... would be nice but here is a good example of the potential:

Adding out of town scores would be a novel approach!

I have not played here in a few months, I am happy to see this new feature.

Can't believe how primitive the graphics still are in the computer game. The You tube video has a snapshot of a runner always heading back to 2nd. And the graphics with the pitched ball are so distracting they are better not used. A visual representation of each play is what is needed but I imagine Strat can't afford to do it right. Too bad.

I agree. In the absence of real graphics, simple things like showing the different parks and displaying the available players would suffice for me. I'd like to see lineup cards like a real manager uses, complete with all the available stats (L/R splits, H/A splits, that sort of stuff).

It's a great feature and is a very welcome addition.

That being said, it seems to me that it should be quite easy to make it significantly better by adding even a few of the suggestions made here.

In particular, I would like a little more narration - Duffy nailed at the plate", or " Gehrig takes second on the throw".

I hope people aren't getting confused . . . that link is to a gamecast of the CD Rom game, not the game we play here on the site.

As for what some of you said . . . you can usually have more or less play by play, and often graphics as you deem fit in the CD Rom version, just have to tweak the settings.
