Tebow to Bullpen, but the Weinberg-Petrosian bantering not?

The aforementioned thread seems to be nothing more than an endless debate leading absolutely nowhere. It should probably be moved elsewhere, lest the ghost of a thousand Grindi's rise and devour us all.

(P.S. I find it hard to qualify a lengthy discussion about who launched the first actual ad hominem [or who is actually a troll] to have any relevance to ATG [or even baseball).

There is a big difference between friendly debate and ad hominem attacks. Debate is healthy but I suppose if it is not ATG related it should be done in the bullpen. I just discovered the bullpen. I do not think the World needs less debate.

[quote:cbd0aee0cf="Petrosian"]Well, the thread [b:cbd0aee0cf]I[/b:cbd0aee0cf] started, [i:cbd0aee0cf]Weinberg vs. Petrosian, [/i:cbd0aee0cf]is approaching 350 posts in a handful of days. And the almost 4000 views suggest it is nothing if not interesting. Hey, a lot of people like to go to the circus. Here you can see it for free and there's no cruelty to animals. And I agree with Nev: it's all atg.

Tebow should have been on the bullpen from the beginning, before I offered my opinion. It never had anything to do with ATG.[/quote:cbd0aee0cf]

As I said, that's not the barometer, whether it has anything to do with ATG. There is plenty of spam here every day that has nothing to do with ATG.

So it comes down to it was moved because someone complained. As I said--I saw nothing wrong with the banter and from the beginning I thought it added some needed zest...heck people were asking to join the league which filled quickly.

But one person among us getting to decide arbitrarily what is here and what isn't, well that's just BS.

IMO. So to speak. And every other cliche.
OK i didn't want to bump this but had to respond to that Petro. You're smart enough to know I wasn't impugning you or Weinberg right from the beginning.
