Assessments On This Squad Please?

Any assessments on this roster?

The rest of the division-one park is a heavily L power park. The other two are not. The other teams' hitting is R dominated, with quite a few R hitter that hit R pitching well.

This team was "thrown together" using many favorites. Originally I chose a former team that won a title, and wanted to recreate the roster, but couldn't get the Ruth card....so suspended the project.

go to "Your League"
Then click on your team.
Copy the URL and post here.
for it to be your URL that others can see, and not a locally cached thing, it needs to have a unique number in the URL, preceded by user_id=xxxxxx

You do not need Mule Shirley because Lou Gehrig can not get hurt.

I like Sundberg a lot, he has great defense, a good OBP, and lots of clutch hits for a very reasonable price.

I don't know if it has been coincidence or not but I've not had much luck when trying to 'balance' my teams. In my last team in your stadium I went all HR hitters except for my C, 2B and SS where I went strictly for D. The other non LHHR hitters were righties who slay LHP (Bagwell) and switch hitters Mantle and Chipper. In other words, if I'm in a HR park, I'm going big or staying home.

Won a championship w/this team.

I believe that committing over 10% of your total salary to a DH platoon is a substellar idea. Someone like a left handed Rico Carty would work better, give you money to move up something else. I'd rather go Whitaker in a platoon than Gilliam alone, or DH Reggie and play Yaz in Left. Or someone like Yaz.

I agree with that DH comment-too much being spent there...
