Why Hal?

My leadoff hitter is injured.
Why does Hal make things even worse by moving my cleanup hitter, Josh Gibson, down to the #7 spot in the order?
No rhyme or reason for this.
My lineup became this

Why not just move everyone up 1 spot and bat the replacement last.
No one wants their #4 hitter moved to 7th and their #9 hitter moved up to 5th.
