Anyone use this bagwell? I've always used the 11 mil bagwell curious how the 10 mil Jeff has worked out for some of you.

I used that card a couple of times and it severely underperforms for the price. The 11m card absolutely rakes!

Defense not being a consideration would you drop a bulletproof bagwell and replace him with beckwith for the extra offense but risk a 15 game injury? Other possibility would be grabbing sisler . Not sure if I can find the extra 1.5 mil to grab the super bagwell.

I have had great success with the 10 mil Bagwell. My two best teams ever (record-wise) were both in Hilltop with Bagwell leading off. He hit .300+, drew 130+ walks, hit 30+ homers and 40+ doubles. That card is just hard to get. Even harder now that the '94 Bagwell card is in there.

FWIW, wait until we get the '99 Bagwell card. His best season (for a Strat card). Also bulletproof, plus even more power and walks. The '94 card is better, but the 15-game injury risk is hard to stomach.

I've intended to use it but never have. The reason is because the 94 Bags is so effing awesome I always end up finding that extra 1.5 mil. I use that card all the time.

It's like going to your favorite restaurant dead set on trying something new. In the end you usually order the same wonderful thing you always do. Heck, that's why it's your favorite restaurant.

I always liked the less injury risk with players I Love bagwells expensive card but always fear that 15 gamer hitting me. I've never seen the 10 mil card used and with a 100 mil cap I was curious what I could expect

I don't like injuries either, so what I've done the two times I've used him is grab a mid priced guy also slanted RH, and try to use that player as a road game match up DH guy/back up for Bags. Usually in 140-200, and I've used Hodges as that guy, the first time I got lots of trade requests for Hodges b/c he himself is pretty damn good v LHP as well.
