Anybody want to vouch for him? Too pricey? Stay the hell away?

I'll vouch for him, but I typically use him as a number 3 starter.

The problem with Koos is he is not $1M better than Pollet.

Yeah, but if Pollet is gone ... is Koos 1.5 mil better than Leifield and Whitey Ford?

Depends.

I seldom use use Lefty much, suited for a bomber park, I buy cheap SPs at Polo. Ford gets a bad rap, but he has been OK for me at times.

IMHO, once you get below $7M, picking a LH is based upon your division foes. Suggest Hubbell, Pfiester or Koufax or have a clear idea of what team you are trying to beat with the LH and why that LH is a good selection.

Liefield, Key, McGregor, Kaat, Mogridge, Hurst, Lolich, McNally, Spahn, they all have their place. Carlton is a good value, he is usually taken however.
