Bad start in Chavez Ravine

Bad start in Chavez Ravine

Postby guardian154 » Wed May 03, 2006 9:38 am

I know it's early, but 0-6 has me alittle worried...17 runs scored vs 34 runs given up... I'm not hitting and my bullpen can't seem to get anyone out.. I'm not used to playing a small ball team..any glaring weaknesses or areas?

I managed to replace Doerr at 2b, hated given up the defense, but .023 BA leads me ot believe I will ahve the same ole Doerr..

Thanks in advance

I like your hitting really, not bad at all!

Don't like Spahn (just gives up too many hits), and Hughes is more of a hitters park guy, but overall, not a bad team. Hang in there, it is very early.....

Thanks mtarbell, I wondered if I had too many big bats with Mays, Furillo and Cooper. I was thinking maybe, Rogers for Hughes (no pitchers over 6 mill).
