HAL, Stadiums, Normal

Does anyone think think HAL takes into account the Stadium when applying the game settings? When base stealing for example, is set to "normal" would HAL run with the same frequency whether playing in Fenway 67' or Forbes?

I think so. I imagine HAL set at normal would mean that HAL goes straight off the player cards...i.e., HAL steals with a 70% jump, hits and runs with a C hit and runner (these are just my guesses, no facts involved). If base stealing is set to aggressive, HAL might lower the % to 65% - at conservative, bump it up to 75%, or something like that. I doubt stadium ever factors into HAL's programming.

This quote from 2001: A Space Odyssey may sum up HAL better than any other words:

"I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do."
