SOM Old Stupid System: Used floppy disks

SOM New Not Quite as Stupid System: Uses authorization codes on little pieces of cardstock. You type in these long alpha-numeric codes in order to access the season's you've bought (e.g. the HOF "disk"...which is really no longer a disk).

So when you're order comes you get one CD, a little piece of card stock with each set you bought, as well as another piece of card stock for the latest year that you get automatically with the order.

yes .... ALL the seasons are on the CD-Rom.... the code thye send unlock them... so if you buy the 1911 season all you get is a card with a code number on it which will allow you to use the 1911 set ..... if you have OLD sets already...no problem you use the old style disks to unlock it ..... so no worries

This is not a bad thing. I like to spend money as much as my wife likes to save it. She is a great number cruncher whereas I will keep spending until my card gets spit back out at some retail joint and then...see top quote! :shock:

Hey I just wanted to mention that in Netplay III we have ten players in and one who has indicated interest so we are looking for 1-2 more to get to 12 players and would love to have you join our league. Please check the thread mentioned in the baove post for more details. :D

Thanks ace for the invitation. As soon as I get my stuff and figure how it works you can definitely count me in...if you still need players by then. Are there certain years that get used more than others? Are all the players, 2005, HOF and individual seasons all thrown in a player pool that you can draft from or does everybody have to play a certain season? And if you order the initial disk with the card image option, does that work for all individual seasons you order?
