Weighted Waivers is an alternative way of determining the Waiver Priority. Instead of the order of teams on the list being determined by the number of draft picks lost in the Auto-Draft, it is based on the weight of draft picks lost. If a team loses out on its top priority pick, that's worth 25 weighted points. If a team loses its 25th pick, that's worth 1 weighted point. The team with the most total weighted points would be first in the Waiver Priority, and the team with the fewest would be last. This method of determining the Waiver Priority is selectable when creating a new private league.
