Mike Cuellar throws no-no against me

Postby MICHAELEVANS » Tue Jun 13, 2006 3:19 pm

Check out this game from last night. Cuellar stomps on me: http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/atg2/league/boxscore.html?group_id=32611&g_id=258

The only other time I have ever been no-hit, I won 1-0. I had a walk, a stolen base, a sac bunt and a ground out scoring the runner. Last night I couldn't manage that, though. Kudos to the Osage Buzzards IV

:D

That makes me mad. That's the second time in a week that someone mentioned a no hitter by Cueller. I picked him up for one of my teams recently and all he's done is get blown up. That HAL really knows how to push my buttons.

A two-out, 7th inning walk to Luderus was all he surrendered.. tough!

Wow.. that's the 2nd post I saw about a Cueller no-hitter in the last week or so...
Guess HAL has something going for Mr. Mike!!!

Here was the posting about the other Cueller no hitter...

I'm feeling your pain. I saw Cuellar almost win the Cy Young in Dodger '77. I grabbed him for Forbes figuring he'll be twice as good. Here's how he's doing:
[b:ddf718a654]4 14[/b:ddf718a654] 0 129.1 146 73 45 70 [b:ddf718a654]5.08[/b:ddf718a654] 1.48

He is my god. I was the other guy who had the no-no from him. I have him on two teams, both in Forbes and he's en fuego.

After 48 games, he's 7-2 w/3:42 ERA

on my other team, after 48 games, he's 6-1 w/2.78 ERA .91 Whip.

Perhaps it's my small knowledge of Spanish.

I'll use him 'till he tanks

He definitely made my hair fall out. I just traded him straight up for McAnally (I know...I did [i:c2081e1366][b:c2081e1366]WHAT[/b:c2081e1366][/i:c2081e1366]) and McAnally threw a beautiful complete game. Go figure.
