Do I have enough offense in Forbes?

Do I have enough offense in Forbes?

Have I spent too much on Dimaggio? Musial is available, I could put him in LF and Devore in CF and I need more LH hitting.

Dodger '77, Yankee '27 and Candlestick in my division.

Musial at Forbes is a slam dunk--doesnt have Joltin' Joe's injury risk, and Stan the Man is much better suited to pitchers parks, plus that puts a -3 arm in CF where it will make a difference and it gives you a much needed strong lefty bat.
Whats not to like?

plus that gives you a backup at 1B if Chance goes down...you can slide Stan there and use your other reserves in the OF

Thanks, but aren't you in my division M?

If you want to help, you should have left me Willie in the waiver draft.

Keep Joe - Add Stan

Drop Liebold

get a 1 range for 2B

drop one or both second tier starters and find someone to match with Speer

Put the -3 arm in RF unless you can find something better (Clemente would do nicely)

I hope you know what you're talking about, Odyssey. I made the changes and now I'm fearing for my offense. :?

Any thoughts on Donie Bush or Peckinpaugh instead of Bowa?

I like Bush.

Opinions vary, but especially in small ball parks, the effect of his errors will be minimized.

If you feel more comfortable with his OBP at the top of the order, pick him up. He should score a lot of runs in front of Chance, Musial, Joe D. and Carter.

Weaver and Evers may well suprise you at 7 and 8. both have strong clutch and for me at least seem to outperform their cards.

Bush or Bowa - both work, pick the one you are more comfortable with.
