Another Exp Era Team Draft Theme - Moved to ILC

Given that 2cityfan's league filled in the blink of an eye, and since neither jet40 nor me were fast enough to get in, thought that I'd start another one...

12 teams

1. When we have 12 managers, we will randomize for a draft order and division assignments.

2. We will run a 2 round draft in serpentine order on the ILC boards. Each Manager selects a EXP era team. No Post WW 2 teams are eligible, this league is for the EXP era players only. At the end of the draft all 12 managers will have 2 EXP era teams to build their roster out of..

3. At all times your roster must be comprised exclusively of players from your 2 selected EXP era teams

4. For players with cards on multiple teams (i.e. Greg Maddux), the Auto drafting rights always go to the team with the higher dollar card. So if both the Cubs exp and ATL exp are selected, the manager who selected ATL (where Maddux has a higher dollar card) gets rights to him in the auto draft. If the ATL exp manager does not auto draft Maddux, the Cubs exp team can pick him up out of the free agent pool after the auto draft. If no manager selects ATL exp as one of the 24 selected exp teams, and a manager selected the Cubs exp.. the manager with Cubs exp would have exclusive rights to Maddux because he can only play for either the Cubs or Braves.

5. You can use any EXP era version of a player you have rights to. So if the A's get Willie Randolph because the Yankees go with Cano at 2b, and do not auto draft him, the A's can use the higher dollar versions of Randolph from his Yankee days.

6. For players that have both a post WW2 and EXP era card (examples Hoyt Wilhelm, Frank Robinson), only the exp era cards can be used.

7. Since there are many players eligible for multiple teams, we will use Waivers

8. Select a home ball park that corresponds to one of your 2 selected exp era teams.

Good move setting up this league again. I was going to join the other one but work got in the way for a few hours and by the time i got back the league was full.

Will this league also include the later player eligiblity adjustments made by 2CityFan of the other league as well?

There are a few players that might have confusing drafting eligibility for players:

1. Robin Ventura's 1999 high dollar card shows up on CWS exp even though he actually played for the Mets... If you draft the White Sox you get Ventura period..

2. Dean Chance's high dollar card is from 1964 and it is assigned to the weird category of CAL POST.. If you want Dean Chance, draft Minn EXP, you may use his 1964 card.. we will call it EXP for the purposes of this league

3. Frank Howard is assigned to WASH EXP.. there are only a few Wash EXP's.. but you can use his card by Drafting his Texas exp Card[/i:c70a5d3efd][/b:c70a5d3efd][/color:c70a5d3efd]
